Spring Fling 2026 is coming!
Every year, we host a family-friendly spring celebration that is free to the community and includes live music, local vendors, food trucks/vendors, libations, and the Peace Gardens and Market BIG plant sale. Below, you’ll find the information about volunteering, becoming a sponsor, or participating as a vendor. But first, please let us tell you what this gathering is about.
Spring Fling an incredibly magical and fun day filled with music, food, community, and PLANTS! 🪴
The event grew out of our annual plant sale, where we wanted to create a festive and welcoming environment for those attending. We started with homemade libations, snacks, and a live band for a portion of the day. That grew into a full day of performers, kicked off with a kid-focused performance by Asheville Creative Arts. Somewhere along the way, an attendee asked if they could sell their jewelry at the event, so we included vendors.
Spring Fling draws well over a thousand people throughout the day! Below are the details:
What: Spring Fling 2026 🌷, a joyful community celebration featuring a plant sale, live music, a puppet show, artisan vendors, food trucks, and more.
When: Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 11 AM to 5 PM 🪴
Where: Peace Gardens & Market📍
Why it matters: All proceeds from plant sales will benefit our workforce development programs, free produce boxes for elders, and other community projects. 💚 Plus, it's SUPER fun! Look at our reels from previous Spring Flings if you don't believe us 😉
What can you do to support this event?
Volunteer. Volunteers will help with event setup, welcoming guests, supporting vendors, assisting with activities, helping with parking flow, and keeping the day running smoothly. If you’d like to get involved, please fill out our volunteer interest form.
Participate as a vendor. We have room for 12 vendors. Please fill out this interest form or contact Laura at Laura@hoodhuggersfoundation.org if interested.
