As Western North Carolina rebuilds, Build Back Stronger is making sure our young people and neighborhoods have a stake in what comes next. Young people earn while they learn, gaining construction skills, credentials, and real-world experience while contributing to homes and projects in their own communities. Along the way, they're building pathways to living-wage careers, growing as leaders, and seeing themselves as essential to the future of the places they call home.
EVERYBODY HUDDLE UP
Young Voices. Shared Power. Stronger Communities.
Young people live with the decisions communities make every day. Everybody Huddle Up gives them a voice in those decisions. Through civic education, youth-led forums, community projects, and hands-on engagement, young people learn how their communities work and how to shape what happens next. They build the knowledge, confidence, and relationships to speak up, bring people together, and see themselves as leaders with a role in the future of their neighborhoods and city.
